The ad, viewable here, features pageant footage as well as celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, who asked Prejean the question that prompted her now-famous reply.Prejean said on NBC’s Today (video below) that marriage is an issue “very dear to my heart” and said she’s surprised by the uproar surrounding her remarks. “I never thought in a million years that this would be happening.” Speaking of things close to one’s heart, the Miss California organization has confirmed that it paid for the 21-year-old Prejean to receive breast implants weeks before the national pageant.
